FESTIVAL DE PORTA FERRADA

The Festival de Porta Ferrada, born in 1958 in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, is the oldest summer festival in Spain. Unique in the Costa Brava for its wide range of artistic disciplines, features consolidated artists and new talents of the international and local scene.

Rooted in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, the festival permeates every corner of the Catalan village with the best cultural activities in an incomparable scenario to fully enjoy all their proposals. In the streets, squares and venues; music, theater, workshops and many more complementary activities become essential players in the summer of the town.

Organization

TheProject organizes more than 300 productions and events per year with a total inflow of public above the 400.000 spectators and a global experience of over 5.000 musical calls of all kinds.

It also develops and coordinates various festivals like the Voll-Damm Festival Internacional de Jazz de Barcelona, the African-American spiritual music festival of Els Grans Gospel, the Guitar Festival BCN and De Cajon! Festival Flamenco de Barcelona. It also collaborates with the Grec Festival, Festival Internacional de la Porta Ferrada, Festival Castell de Peralada and Veranos de la Villa de Madrid -among others- and theaters, auditoriums and halls throughout Catalonia. We manage BARTS venue in Barcelona.
